Easiest Ever "Homemade" Chicken Soup

All these years of slaving over a hot stove, skimming scum off from chicken, alas, the same great taste (actually better) can be made in less than :20 minutes. A lot of cheating, but here goes!


Makes 3-4 heaping servings


2 cups chicken broth

1 ½ cups water

Bring to a boil


Mix in 1 tsp chicken bouillon paste (from the jar)

Add 2 celery stalks, diced to broth

Add 10 baby carrots, sliced to broth

Add 10 long green beans, sliced to broth

Add 1 tsp of chopped garlic (I use pre-chopped garlic in the jar)

Add ¼-1/2 package of wide egg noodles


Turn heat down slightly so it doesn’t overflow.


Add in ¼ onion (the whole ¼, it falls apart while cooking)


Sprinkle in white pepper, black pepper, salt (to taste) and a pinch of sugar


Lastly, chop up prepared chicken breast and add to pot


Simmer :5 minutes.


Be careful to not let it boil too long or you will lose all the great broth. I like mine that way, but most people want the soup to go with it!


And my house smelled just like my grandmother’s kitchen in no time!
